B.A.P 30 Day Challenge ♕

Day 1: Your first impression of Best Absolute Perfect
To be quite honest, rookies barely impress me (unless they had enough public ism or somehow became the talk of the town before debut) although I acknowledge their presence in the K-Pop world. But somehow, out of curiosity, I found myself on YouTube looking for the Warrior Music Video (days after it was released) as people close to me had been talking about it for quite a time already (and at the same time remembering that I somehow encountered the Warrior teaser and the release of Never Give Up MV).
Like everyone else, the first thing I noticed about them was they were all blonde dudes. And their way of establishing themselves in differing from other groups actually made a huge impact on me (in a good way) since it’s not everyday you come across a rookie group who has synonymous hair colors as their concept.
The meeting of punk style and varying colors of their clothes and the MV setting also were superb and magnificent to me because they didn’t look like rebellious kids trying to look kawaii (hello to the car-smashing/DJ tokki appearing from time to time [seemed out of place but he meant well lmfao]!) so another A+ for that.
The song was very catchy and intimidating and the dance steps were flabbergasting-ly hardcore (the dance break/stomping got me on the edge of my seat), the meaning of the lyrics compromised to the kind of image they were trying to show, and unlike some of the debut songs which preferred not to be much of an explosion of the year, this shit got my full attention and it was very much hard to believe that they’re actually still rookies and they were just debuting. The boys have unbelievable talents - Yongguk’s low, sexy orgasmic rapping and Zelo’s tongue twister LTE rap, Daehyun and Youngjae’s high notes, Himchan’s derp expressions and Jongup’s cheetos. Wait those are not talents.
Overall, most of the things on their concept were successful in contrasting the usual kind of style and image other groups are showing us today and they got most of the people who seen this captivating Music Video anticipate their every move in the showbiz industry and their next comeback which will probably be just as astounding - or maybe even better!
